Help Brighten a Child’s World

Today

Help us create memories for families affected by hardship. Make a difference by contributing to the 2024 Susan Roskell Toy & Gift Drive.

Welcome to the Susan Roskell Memorial Toy & Gift Drive 2024

Being a child in disadvantaged circumstances can have detrimental effects on their mental health and wellbeing which hinders them from making the most out of life.

Sometimes a simple gesture of kindness through gifts and toys can be enough to help them cope through their challenges while providing ease to their families and carers knowing that these children can still enjoy beautiful moments in life.

Each year we give donated new toys, sporting equipment, books and school equipment to our network of community and charity partners throughout the Hunter Valley region and other areas of NSW. These groups distribute the items to children in need.

We support a broad range of community groups and charities from locations throughout the Hunter Valley region as well as other areas of NSW. These organisations are best placed to identify children in need and ensure that all donated gifts get to the kids that would normally go without. We welcome new community partners, get in touch with us to find out we can support the important work you do.

Our Sponsors

We are so grateful for the support from our treasured sponsors.

It is heartwarming to see that with every year, the support from the business community especially small businesses has grown, which enables us to support the ever-increasing number of families that are seeking support and assistance.

We offer 4 different sponsorship levels. Check out our sponsorship packages to see what’s involved.

We have partnered with Casey’s Toys to make it easier for people to donate, especially those outside the Hunter Region. Simply click on the link, go to the platform and purchase a gift or donate a voucher for us to spend on toys. Casey’s Toys will do the rest.

Toy & Gift Guide

Toy & Gift Guide

Gifts & Toys must be new and in their original packaging.

We will wrap the items and give each child at minimum of 3 gifts, with the important areas being:

Making a Difference since 2016

2024 marks the 9th year of the Toy Drive! In 2022 we renamed the drive to honour our mum and nanny Susan Roskell who passed away during the 2021 campaign.

With each year since the first toy drive back in 2016, donations have steadily increased with thousands of Toys and Gifts being donated.

Our main focus has always been families affected by Domestic Violence and this will always be very important.

This year, 2024, we will be broadening our support to include families affected by Mental Health and to provide support to families that have stepped up to take care of children in the event that mum and or dad are unable.
